I'm looking on here to see if anyone remembers my dad, Edward (Ted) Moore. Was at RAAF Butterworth in 1961. Lived on Penang Island. Married to Connie, a Maltese girl. I'd love to bring him to the reunion next year if anyone knows him. He was a fireman.
Is any one attending who was there from March 1969 to close down?
Scotty, I forgot to mention that I worked in the Aircrew Meals Centre at Honington from August '63 until March '64 then onto the Officer's Mess until October'65. Then I was on a compassionate posting to6 FTS RAF Acklington, Northumberland until the November 1968.

I was detached to Butterworth from RAF Honington with the Victor bombers in 1964 and June to August 1965. A few weeks up there then down to Singapore via KL by train to RAF Tengah. Had a great time!
