2017 Soldiering On Awards

Two of the charities you have helped us to support have been chosen as finalists in the 2017 Soldiering On Awards. Veterans With Dogs and Bravehound were both nominated for the 'Pets At Home Animal Partnership Award category, and are two of the five finalists. Tommy, the puppy you helped us to sponsor through Veterans With Dogs, is now fully trained and helping a female veteran who served in Afghanistan, to cope with PTSD. You can read the story HERE.

The Award Winners were selected by an independent Judges Panel on 15 November 2016 at the House of Lords, and will be announced on 24th March at a spectacular evening event. The Soldiering On Awards provide National Recognition for the outstanding achievements of those who have served their country and individuals and groups who work together with the Armed Forces Community. Their aim is to encourage support for the UK’s Armed Forces Community by nationally recognising the achievements of groups, individuals and organisations that support this community. This will be the seventh Soldiering On Awards, hosted by Angela Rippon, TV presenter and former newsreader and will take place in the presence of the Rt Hon Earl Howe who will be joined by the Awards Judges including co-chairs General the Lord Dannatt GCB, CBE, MC, DL and Debra Allcock-Tyler, Chief Executive of The Directory of Social Change, along with other distinguished guests. The ceremony is being held in Park Plaza Westminster Bridge Hotel, London, 6pm till Midnight, Click HERE to book.
