Where are you: Had to sell my home in Camborne, Cornwall after 40 years due to Divorce, now currently living in Bursledon, Hampshire on medical grounds, to be near my Granddaughter so she can keep an eye on me & support. Wife walked out on me, due my injuries sustained on active service, said she was not going to nurse me the rest of her or my life! I believe at the alter she said 'In sickness & Health?' I qualified as a Cabinet Maker, hence with kind permission of my War Veterans Welfare Officer, I can use my skills but, not allowed to make any financial gain, it's classed as 'Occupational Therapy', I can claim for materials and out of pocket expenses i.e. new tools, etc. Qualified for the 1988 GB Paralympic Pistol Team also shot for The City of Truro, Holmans of Camborne, Cornwall & S.W. Regional ablebodied Teams, etc. had to train myself to shoot pistol left hand and right eye, due broken right wrist, etc. in the Mob. When I moved to Hampshire, I joined Fareham Rifle & Pistol Club, Had not lost my aim, Hampshire Light Weight Sports Rifle Champion for 5 years, upset fromer REME from Havant, Ranked 4th in Country by the NSRA. Worked with Special Needs Children for 5 years oh! what times and memories there. Was, still am for a while, an unpaid Director of a Social Firm retraining Disabled and Disadvantaged persons to get back into gainful employment or self employment. The Doc's want to cut my spinal cord, no thanks, I've some use of the legs and I'm keeping it, pain is only in the mind. It'll snap one day they say, until then I'll keeping making furniture and up setting MPs & Councillors, that costs nothing, it's called being 'A Pain in the ARSE'. I took part in the campaign that now allows servicemen & women to sue the MoD & Government, it wasn't made retrospective so we got nothing. Those who have sued them, sorry you had to, stay POSITIVE! there's always tomorrow. Been told there's no Spinal Surgery, damage to C5,6,7 then L1,2,3,4,5, S1,2 & Cocyx with Spondylis the whole spine, both Rotary Cuffs/Nerves damaged, Upper Right (R) Arm 2 Torn Tendons - non operable, (R) Forearm, Wrist & Scafoid now Non Operable as with both knees etc,. I miss my Youngest 2 Grandchildren, have not seen since Feb 2010 for an hour, now Former Wife has turned daughters against me, when they are 16 I can see them without their permission but, not until! I unknowing Coached a Q.C. at Fareham without charge, in return that was his advice 'Free of Charge' his circuit was Cornwall especially Camborne!'
