I like Saturday mornings because I don't have to be up to watch that lovely nostalgic programme "Heartbeat" which is on at 8am during the week and there is no district nurse calling so I can have an extra long lie in. Then I look forward to the newspaper arriving so that I can go through the Weekend magazine and circle all the TV programmes I want to watch through the week. What do you like about Saturday mornings?
Hello Pamela, Sat. mornings for me is reading paper and looking forward to seeing football in the afternoon. "Heartbeat" is not really my cup of tea. I you like action you should watch "Hardcore Pawn" this is a father, son, and daughter who have business in Detroit U.S.A. buying, selling and loaning money. Every episode has someone who has a grievance is either looked after or thrown out by a giant minder. It sometimes is on early so I tape the series . I would say don't miss it as it is an eye opener. Tat Ta for now dear. J.D.
Now you're showing your advancing years, JD! What you have to remember is that the 60's were my teenage years so watching 'Heartbeat' reminds me of the clothes I wore (mini dresses), the music I listened to and the songs I sang. Doesn't everyone love a little nostalgia now and then?

Wow is that you our Pam ? My beef is that all the soaps like Heartbeat. Coronation St. East enders and Emmerdale Farm ( A story of country folk ? ) By and large they full of violence, dodgy scripts etc. the only thing I like among the older shows is "Minder"
You're absolutely right, Terry. It is indeed Twiggy in the white mini dress. The other one on the mini car is Mary Quant, the originator of the mini...
I bought a mini (car not dress) and took it to work and one of the older lads said this is a respray .I took it back to the dealer but because I had got it on credit I had to go to the finance house. the whole thing from start to finish was done in under three hours, They charged me £40. to cancel that was more than I earned at the time per week ( maybe I should have worn a Min dress at the time)
