Argentine Surrender West Falklands - HMS Avenger
I am researching the above event, achieved, I understand, by a small team in a Lynx helicopter under Lt Tony Bolingbroke, on 15th June 1982, after a goodly battering of shore batteries by Avenger. I think a gentleman called W.D.Wilson (ultimately Lieutenant?) may have been present.
I should be very grateful for any information at all about this incident, or about Mr Wilson, or about Avenger's role in the campaign.
Kindest regards,
Steven Hopkins
