I'll just start this off by asking if anyone is pleased that Theresa May has survived the Tory Party's vote of confidence in her? 200 votes for and 117 against? If she carries on as I am sure she will she has no shame.
Hi Pamela - thanks for the reply. Thought there'd have been more by now. Unless the MPs who have been shouting down her deal all suddenly have a collective collapse of moral fibre or start thinking of their salaries and pensions I am certain it will, be defeated. It is totally unacceptable which she should have recognised by now and should be abandoned. I'm sure you remember my earlier thread about her 'White Flag' and it looks like I was right. She must be in line for a plush job with the EU.

Have to take exception to your last post Terry. Give me a date when MP's were last noted for their collective moral fibre! C'mon now, out with it! Or do you know something I don't? Grrrrr! Bah! Humbug! Shafted indeed we be. I must have a cup of tea and a lie down. Cheers, Syd.
Oooops - sorry Syd - I shall go and abase myself for even inadvertently inferring that our MPs have the normal amount of moral fibre. Perhaps I should have said that they have sufficient collective moral fibre to match a normal person's and thereby have the nerve to make a fuss when there is no apparent danger to themselves. They are in fact liable to go whichever way the wind is blowing and to be scattered as so much chaff when things get tough. Rather like 'when the going gets tough they've already gone!
A thousand apologies O Wise One - may the sun never set on your shadow.
