How we have been shafted.
She does still have to get approval for her EU deal yet and hopefully that won't happen.
A thousand apologies O Wise One - may the sun never set on your shadow.
All we can hope for is that this carries on until someone cracks - Theresa May perhaps and actually does something honourable for a change and we leave with No Deal on the 12th April. I am not holding my breath but it seems most likely that we are doomed and when the LIsbon Treaty final phases kick in between 2020 and 2024 it will finish off this once great country.
I wonder where the brain cell shared by all the above mentioned lot is kept. No matter for all the evidence piled up against the EU the whole lot are unable to realise the truth.
Going on from your post, Terry. Theresa May actually began her negotiations from a totally wrong start point, thinking that it was merely a question of 'negotiation.' No it wasn't! The UK voted to leave the EU. No 'ifs'! No 'buts'. And no 'deal'! A straightforward question on the ballot paper and a straightforward answer given by seventeen and a half million voters. I firmly believe it is this which MP's, in their self-centered bubble of prevarication, lies and deceit, simply cannot understand or accept. More Grrrr!
It's a nice day, the sun is shining. Spring is sprunging! I'd like to enjoy it, but have to visit the local hospital this afternoon to see why one knee has been giving me 'gyp' for the last three months...perhaps it's 'the deal'. Still more grrrr! Syd.
She's a wily old bird all along appeasing Brexiteers while sneakily (she has had good teachers the EU are passmasters at sneaking laws and directives into member states statute books surreptitiously) keeping us in as much as she can ie partially either that or a clever plan to leave no deal ha ha. What is annoying the EU had no intentions letting us have a deal and our loopy europhiles can't see it.
My rant for the day.
I have to agree with Syd about Theresa May's sanity. I've posted previously about Albert Einstein's quote - 'Repeating the same experiment and expecting a different result points to insanity.' From the start May has been fixated on getting a deal which no one asked for but the Remainer faction seized upon as a means of frustrating the wishes of the Leavers. I have seen posts elsewhere which suggest that she is setting up Corbyn so that he takes the fall when things go wrong. I suspect that he will turn out the winner if that is the case. He isn't fit to govern but he is a crafty old bugger who has spent around forty years being an obstructive old bugger and will continue to be so.
It is time as I have said for ages now for the Army to stand up and take over. They would not serve under the EU flag unless I am very much mistaken so they might as well show their hand now. There have been reports that there are 3,500 troops already in position in case of riots following a decision causing unrest. I have read in the last couple of days that there are 10,000 police also on standby. Could this be true? Do we in fact have that number of riot police available, ready and trained in tactics that can be thrown into action within 24 hours?
May is a woman who seems only to listen to bad advice and who seems unable to make a correct decision. She showed that well enough when she was Home Secretary. Added to the fact that Bercow is so out of control that he is re-inventing Parliamentary procedure as he goes along to ensure that we do not leave it is time for a revolution. Seems to me it will be the only way we will ever get what we want.
I also agree with you Syd but the wily old bird bit was the sweetness and honey rhetoric but a witches brew was the strategy from the word go. When eurofanatic self interest remainers took the helm what possibly could go wrong. Don't forget she has wittled the vote for her crap deal from a decisive no to a single criminal vote yes margin, ah well all's fair in politics i guess. These moronic europhiles will only be happy when we have to call ourselves EU citizens and not British the only blessing for me is i won't be around long enough to be that involved what is it 2025 i believe oh happy days.
Sunny but still a cold breeze here in Essex.
