I will be there for the 2020 Reunion, 61 years since I was last there. My husband Jim, ex USA Navy Veteran, will be coming with me. We will be staying at Bawdsey Hall on the 5th and 6th. Hoping to possibly meet some old friends from the 1958/59 era.
With the Corona Virus now creating problems re: travel and self-isolation etc., have any decisions been made about the Reunion? My husband and I fall into the 70's plus age group who are now expected to self-isolate, probably starting this coming weekend, and so far there seems to be no definite time limit to isolation, could be weeks, or months. I would really hate to miss this event, but If I have to cancel, I would have to do it before May 1st or lose my full hotel payment.
Hi all, In light of the Governments new guide lines on the Coronavirus (Covid 19), it is with regret that we have decided to cancel this year's RAF Bawdsey Reunion Lunch. All members will be contacted by email or post over the next few days. Stay safe and well and we look forward to seeing you all on Saturday 5th June 2021. Best wishes, Doreen E. Calver, Secretary/Treasurer, RAF Bawdsey Reunion Association. Tel: 0751 3301 723.
