Many thanks for the thought and the link from us both!
That sounds like good news as long as you will have some company from time to time. You've obviously got it where you are but it's always better having your own place. When will you actually move in once you've seen the place? Let us know when it will be so we can all joini in with an internet flat warming.
I was as intrigued as you by this statue, so had to do an online search, all was revealed.
Please let me know if anything relevant has happened as I will never catch up.
I will try and get on
More often. Have had a few worrying health glitches.
All under control.
I am up early for the Rugby, good luck England.
Very pleased to hear your news Pamela, hope you will be very happy in your new flat.
Colum its good to see you again as I hadnt seen you on FB for a while and was getting worried about you.
Have a good day everyone and take care.
Please don't be offended if I offer some advice, Why not edit your post giving your new address details There are so many nutcases about these days and anyone needing to contact you could always P.M. you.
Hi Vicky, thanks for my morning hugs, hope you are enjoying the rugby.
Everyone haven’t been on for a while.
A few health worries but under control.
You, Health not too bad. Have to have two
Procedures done with cameras at both ends. Not looking forward to
It all. I have been assured it’s a painless experience so
I won’t worry. I’m sure there is a lot I’ve missed. How is everyone doing?
Good morning, Vicky, and hugs back to you.
I too was awake early and thoroughly enjoyed watching England giving the Aussies a good drubbing and they certainly did that with a final score line of 40-16!
Hope everyone has had a nice weekend, very nice to have a dry weekend after all the rain that we have had.
With Winter fast approaching and the garden birds foraging for food I hope this short video I took earlier this year in our garden will provide a smile to brighten up your spirits after the recent dreary days.
Andy is leading the Great Britain team in the Davis cup.
Hope everyone had a good weekend - the weather has been on and off here but at least not too wild or cold.
Good news on your weight loss Pamela and good luck on your weigh-in tomorrow Vicky.
Stay safe and keep well everyone and have a good night.
I lost 1lb this week which I was pleased about even after partaking of my favourite Gin at the weekend, its called Mermaid gin and is made on the IOW. We visited the distillery when we were over there in June.
My daughter in law has asked us to go there again for Christmas which is lovely and no cooking for me. DIL will have to work for part of the day though as she is a carer.
Have a good day.
Hope everyone has had a good day.
My friend, Julie, came in to see me last night and brought me fresh supplies of gin and tonics. I haven't come across the gin she brought before. It is called Whitley Neill and comes from South Africa.
Searching supermarkets for something to surprise someone with soon. Hmmm? Who could it be?
All for now so behave yourselves everyone.
Walks away singing 'We are the Ovaltineys - happy girls and boys - hope I get a good night's sleep tonight without coughing every few minutes.
All this G&T talk...last few years has seen a tremendous increase in these 'artesan' gins and I've tried a few. (Purely in the furtherance of research, of course) most are expensive, not that special and I have to report that I've not found anything I prefer to 'Bombay Sapphire'. Anyone care to add to the stock of knowledge? Cheers, Syd.
PS: That's Minehead in the distance, across Blue Anchor Bay, Somerset.
Our new great grandson is doing very well and here's a picture of him with his granddad Gary who had called round to show off his new guitar to the older granddaughter. Lord knows how many he's got now but I have to say it's a beauty. Had a little go when he brought it round here. By the way that's not at our house - we're tidier than that but we haven't got a young baby to contend with!
I'm no expert on Spitfires but it's really interesting and good luck with the knee strengthening. That's someting I have to put up with - a very dodgy left knee but I am fighting shy of seeing a doc about it. I should have had a cartilage op years back but it was when I was starting having heart problems. I know what it's like having had my right knee done and it's quite arduous so I left it. I suppose if it gets too bad I'll have to do something but until then I'll just suffer - almost in silence.
I am up and ready for the Rugby sitting with my fingers crossed.
Terry good to bear that apart from your cold your health is on the up. Good to hear that you are having your flu jab as well. We had ours at the end of September.
Syd I like Bombay Sapphire but the Mermaid one from IOW is rather special. Ian is still enjoying his sailing.
Have a good day everyone and take care.
Do you know when your move will happen Pamela?
I am having a quiet day as Ian is at the boat club helping with the lift out of boats that come out for the winter, his stays in unless he needs to do any work on it and he can get his boat out on his own. I am making sure that all my jobs are done ready for the rugby tomorrow and Saturday.
I had a cortisone injection in my wrist this week and it has made a difference but how long for I dont know. Unfortunately its my left hand that is very arthritic and I am left handed.
Hope everyone is ok. Have a good day and take care.
Glad you got the cortisone injection on your wrist at last, do hope it lasts for a while - they do vary I know - lots of luck anyway. keep taking the gin!!!!!!
Hope all our lovely family are as well as they could wish, take care and stay safe.
