Cyber Family 200
I hope you can get your appointments moved closer together. Slimming world will now revert to zoom again. I cant see an end to it all.
I was lucky today to get the last appointment before my hairdressers close down.
Take care and stay well everyone.
Hello, Just have a look at "The Blasted Cat" on Twitter Posted 11 hours ago. This a white bulldog / terrier that is obsessed with metal feeding bowls, and you would have to watch this to see the antics he gets up to. Good luck to you both.
Today Barney has being living up to his alias as 'The Criminal Mastermind' and has spent the whole day trying to devise new methods of getting into mischief while I have spent the whole day devising methods trying to foil him!!
Tomorrow I have an appointment to have a scan at Macclesfield General of my right foot to try to find the reason it is giving me such terrible pain. My friend, Annie, is coming over to puppy sit. She has a 6 year old Bichon Frissé called Benji and absolutely adores my Barney.
Vicky, how are things coming along with the house move? I do hope that your vendors have given up on their annoying behaviour by now.
Kim and Vicky (and anyone else who would like to join us), I am pouring the G & Ts whenever you are ready so "Cheers mi Dears!"
Always ready to join you in a G&T, cheers!!
We are hoping to exchange contracts very soon. It was the buyers mortgage company holding things up with a query about an extension that was built 60 years ago. Our new house is finished and signed off. G&T always needed.
I hope that your poor shin gets better soon. I am still waiting for the result of the scan on my right foot and hoping that they will do a blood sugar test soon which, hopefully will be low enough for me to have the steroid injection in the sole of my left foot with the plantar fasciitis. It would be wonderful to have a pain free Christmas.
Very wet miserable day here today.
Barney is doing well. Still getting into lots of mischief but he is so adorable it's hard to stay cross with him for long. Now getting on for 8kg and when he lies on the floor and stretches out his front legs and his back legs must be about a yard long! I will take some more photos to put up so you can see how much he has grown.
Very wet and miserable here in Cheshire too, Vicky.
Here's a pic of the posh puppy parka that Barns is getting for Christmas....... I've ordered a lovely yellow parka for myself as well so we'll be matching when we go for our little walks!
I have lost another couple of lbs this week so am well on target. In fact, if I keep it up at this rate I will have reached my target by the end of this week, a month earlier than I thought I would.
long waiting. You'll be nicely settled in for Christmas. so I hope you have a lovely one.
I have a feeling that my subs for FR run out in December and, like Terry, I don't think that I will bother renewing them. I have taken a look at the site that Terry has moved to and received a very warm welcome, so I have registered with them and I have been accepted as a member. It is so much better organised and laid out than here. I'm afraid that FR has not been the same since all the changes were made and, as you know, despite all the promises nothing has been done to restore any of the things which were taken away.
There are quite a number of people I would like to keep in touch with, especially yourself, Vicky and Kim. So if anyone would like to PM me their E-mail addresses, telephone numbers, and/or postal addresses I would be happy to receive them.
Hello Pamela - I have told Terry I will probably join him on the new site and I will let you and him have my details in due course. (I have Terry's e-mail address). My FR subs don't expire until next June but I can always keep things running in parallel. Would hate to lose touch with all my lovely friends who may wish to stay on FR.
Vicky, you asked how Barney was before and how big was he now and I said that I would try and take a photo which would show the difference from when you last saw him. I am posting 2 pics. The 1st one was taken some time back (one you have already seen) and the 2nd taken just a few days ago.
Wonderful pics of Barney, thank you.
I will look at the other site after we have moved.
This afternoon he had a wonderful time playing in the park, where he made several new friends. My neighbour, Lizzie, is madly in love with him and rings every day to ask if he would like to go for a walk. Of course, the answer is always "Yes, please!".
Here he is in his new orange hoodie all set to go!.....
It's very quiet on here at the moment. I expect that Vicky is busy packing. Isn't it a week today that she moves into her new house? Good Luck with the move, Vicky and I hope that you will be very happy in your new home.
Yesterday was a special day for Barney as he reached his half year 'birthday'. He was born on the 29th May.
Yesterday was also weighing day and I'm very pleased to report that I am several weeks ahead of target and am now under 10 Stone. ( 9.96 St. to be precise!). Catch you later for a G & T.!
Can't believe that Barney is that old already - how time does fly!!
Great news on your weigh-in - keep up the good work. Looking forward to our G&Ts later and hope that Vicky can join us.
There are no rules as such, if we cannot respect each others points of views when you reach that certain age is it really worth being in a forum?
Yes there are a few of you boys and girls already over there getting your feet under the table.
Everyone is of course welcome, just PM me or go through someone who has already escaped ! :)
Large G&T please girls. Yes we move next Monday but I am leaving the packing to the movers. Busy cleaning ready for move out. How well I remember the moving out inspections when we left married quarters. My place will be left as if Captains rounds were taking place.!!!
Well done Pamela on your weight. I have lost this week and need to lose again next week so I have some leeway at Christmas time.
Stay safe everyone and take care.
Good luck in your new home and it's a good reason for G & T'S all round
We heard today that because we are moving on Monday they will be coming on Friday to pack.
MFO boxes takes me back Bill. We were lucky that we never lost much but one thing I did lose was my wrens hat that I had managed to keep when I handed my kit in,think I must have had a spare one.
