Cyber Family 200
Morning everyone.
Morning hugs for all.
Terry I hope you are feeling better. Have you seen the baby yet?
We went to the boat club BBQ last night and had a good time, food was excellent. Got quite chilly though by the end of the evening.
Have a good day everyone and take care.

Hi all - feeling much better now especially since Gary brought Connie and Alfie over yesterday. Almost all the family arrived so lots of photos taken and I got my cine camera out. Got some great footage with sound so putting it all on DVDfor Connie. Alfie is a lovely boy and at times demonstrated hislung power. Mostly quiet and we all had a cuddle with 4 generation pictures taken. I'll put some on shortly but this is my only visit on line today. I'm trying to avoid any more vertigo. Hugs to all.
Hello Vicky - sorry I missed you yesterday, thanks for another hug. I must admit I was rather busy scoffing some delicious food at my daughter's !! Glad the BBQ went well.
Hi Terry, so pleased you are feeling better, I bet little Alfie cheered you up no end. Big hugs for you and that gorgeous babe xx

Hi everybody - I'm pleased to say I am feeling pretty good today so thank you all for your messages. First off here's Connie with Alfie. Then, if the system works Patricia ditto and last - as usual 'tis meself briinging up the rear.
I've got one on my mobile but it won't let me download it unless the receiving device has Huawei Share installed! I'll have to think of some way to do it. It's one I took with a photo of Connie when she was only a day or two old held close to Alfie to show the pair of them as babies. Why are these things always so complicated? Modern things are supposed to make life easier.
Anyway bye for the moment - take care everyone! X.

Lovely photographs, Terry.
I'm feeling rather pleased with myself today. Last week I lost 5lbs and was hoping to lose another 5lbs this week but I have done somewhat better and managed to lose 10lbs!!

Watch yourself girl - you'll be wasting away if you aren't careful. Double up on the gin and tonics for a day or two!
Such lovely photos Terry, thank you.
Lovely photos Terry, your son looks so like you and Alfie looks great.
Pamela well done on your weight loss. I got my 2 year diamond award last night, 2 years at target, our consultant presented me with a lovely bouquet of flowers.
We have been out fir lunch today with friends.
Hugs to all.

Hi Pamela and Vicky - well done both of you on your weight loss, especially Vicky who has been presented with her 2 year diamond award. Calls for a couple of G&Ts methinks??
Hugs for everyone tonight - sleep well and stay safe.

You are making my mouth water, Vicky !!
Hi everybody and I hope today finds you all well and full of vim and vinegar. I seem to have got over the attack of vertigo and am back on the road, going shopping etc especially for presents for Connie and Alfie.
Congratulations to vicky for her Award and Pamela for doubling her target loss. Well done Ladies!
We used to have a nice crop of raspberries every year until our gardening neighbours moved in next door. The roots were in their garden and Peter is such a fanatic that he cleared everything out to start afresh. There was only Son-in-Law Ed and me who liked them so we had enough to satisfy us but those days are gone (where have I heard that before? - in a song I think)
John, I had read the story about the man who lost a tiny piece of his anatomy but at least he got 20 Grand in compensation. With my luck they'd stick something on and charge me for it!
Vicky, no wonder that the man in the picture looked like me - it wasn't Gary it was meself to be shure, to be shure! Here's Gary with our daughter Lynn in the middle and me on the right of the picture. Hope that sorts it out for everyone.
Take care all and keep taking the tablets! Bye for now!

My friend. Julie, came to visit me this evening. We had a good natter and a catch up. She brought in fresh supplies of gin and tonic amongst other things so I am now enjoying a nice long G & T if anyone would like to join me.
Hi Terry, sorry I missed you yesterday, just pleased you have got over your attack of vertigo. Another great photo, thank you.
Hi Pamela, missed you yesterday evening so could I take up your kind offer of a G&T this evening instead, thank you. I'm sure you will still be around to share with me - don't want to drink alone (tut tut !!) And thanks to Julie, bless her!!!!!

Good morning everyone.
Morning hugs for all, hope everyone is safe in the wind. Our garden thinks it is autumn with leaves everywhere. We are going to Stewarts garden centre at Christchurch today and will then have picnic lunch in the van at Mudeford Quay watching the wind surfers.
Good to hear you are feeling better Terry, vertigo is nasty.
Have a good day everyone and take care.

Hi Vicky, little late but thank you for my morning hug. Weather is the same here with very high winds and leaves everywhere - all very strange for August but at least it has been mostly dry today if a little cooler than of late. My daughter has a BBQ planned for tomorrow but I rather think we will be eating inside, ho hum !!
Hope everyone is OK, stay safe and look after yourselves and each other.

This is Funf speaking. Goodbye Englanders - I shall return!
I thought this might be interesting - it's a photo of our newby Alfie with a photo of Connie when she was also just a few days old. Who thinks they look alike.
Lovely photos - they certainly both have the 'Carey look', Terry.
Aw shucks Ma'am - you say the nicest things!
Good morning everyone..
Morning hugs for all.
Terry Alfie and Connie are very alike, lovely photos.
Where has summer gone, its decidedly cool here today. Very wet yesterday.
Not sure what we are doing today but I do need to go to the library. Weigh in tonight and its a taster night so will have to make something to take with me.

Good luck with our weigh in tonight, Vicky. I was very disappointed this week to find that I had hit a plateau and not lost anything. I shall carry on passing on the potatoes, pastry and other fattening things and hope that next week will see a further loss.
Hello Vicky, thanks for another morning hug. The weather here has been very on-off - the BBQ we were to have at my daughter's on Sunday got rained-off so we ate indoors. The wind was so bad that a tree in her neighbour's garden came crashing down but luckily went in the opposite direction, through a fence and out into the road - happily there was no one in the way at the time !! Been quite pleasant today but much cooler. Good luck with your weigh-in tonight.
Hi Pamela, just keep up the good work and you will surely be rewarded with further weight loss - Good Luck !!!!
Hugs to all our lovely family, stay safe and keep well.

Not a very nice morning and not set to improve. I lost 1lb this week but although nominated for the groups Woman of the Year I didnt win it. Stil! It was a good evening.
Not sure what we are doing today but might have a drive out to a nearby Garden Centre, I have a few gaps in the borders that need filling.

Dry so far but heavy rain forecast.
It is Ians birthday on Monday and we are being taken out to lunch on Saturday and Monday, lovely treat.
I have booked a week away in September at the caravan club site at Sandringham. Hope the weather improves before then.

Hello Vicky, thanks for another morning hug - think its time I sent you one too !!! Do wish Ian a very Happy Birthday from me on Monday - enjoy your lunch treats. Fingers crossed for better weather for your week away. It's unpleasant here today, been chucking it down since around 1030 (chilly too) and shows no sign of letting up. Forecast for tomorrow is even worse, ho hum !!!
Good morning everyone.
Morning hugs for all.
Kim we really enjoyed our lunch on Saturday and Ian had the largest half rack of ribs that I have ever seen. We are off out to lunch again today. Meeting our eldest daughter at Langstone Harbour and it looks like being nice and sunny.
Forecast is quite good, the garden has benefitted from the rain, grass is looking good again. Lots of leaves down from the wind so a lot of clearing up to do.

So sorry to hear you had to lose a tooth Vicky, very unpleasant, just hope you feel better very soon. Big hug for you !!! Hit the gin bottle tonight, I will be around to share it with you.
I had one out in May and need a partial upper denture because I now have a two tooth gap which is showing at the front and side but can't get my dentist to sort me a date out. I am getting very annoyed - we've been on with the practice for over forty years when the present bloke's dad was running it. I am only going to put up with it for another day or two and then I'll go to a dental mechanic and to hell with the cost. I hope the pain soon subsides Vicky. Kim's suggestion sounds good though!
Had a bit of a wobble yesterday. Was having trouble breathing and a doctor had to be called. I thought I might have developed a chest infection but it tuned out that because I had not been having any furusimide my feet and legs had swollen badly and I now have fluid on my lungs. I am now on large doses of furusimide and peeing for England. It will be several days before my breathing starts getting easier.
I'm another one on Furosemide Pamela. I saw three different doctors over a long period and each one said that my legs were not too badly swollen. It wasn't until I saw one of the lady doctors who took one swift glance and immediately prescribed them for me. Since then my legs look like legs and not balloons and I feel a lot better.
Now, I don't want to keep banging on about the new family addition but it is an exciting time. Patricia had an idea to buy a T-shirt for Gary to mark the occasion so wheels were set into motion. There's a business near us which prints whatever you want on a T-shirt so the decision was a guitar. I have one the same model as one of Gary's so I took a few photos of it. We went round with the photos and things were soon sorted as a T-shirt with the motto Funky Grandad and in addition young Alfie's face from a great close up photo superimposed. Connie thinks it's awesome and Gary is thrilled to bits - she says! Now to try and find the photo and get it on here. Seems like I've done it and one with him and Alfie together.

Pamela - sorry I missed out a comment hoping you'd get over your blip ASAP. It's not funny when you have any kind of problem with breathing. Best wishes and a big hug. X
Hi Pamela - do hope you are getting better by the time you read this, do take care of yourself - I am thinking of you x.
Good morning Terry, thanks for the photos - love the T-shirt !!!

Terry I love the T short, will you have one with Great Grandad on?
We have had some worrying news tonight. Our eldest daughter Tracey had to rush our son in law to hospital last night with a bad angina attack . They have kept him in and will put a stent in on Tuesday or before if needed. Why they didnt do it when they did his angiogram I dont know. Its their Pearl Wedding Anniversary on Tuesday, not the way they wanted to spend it.

Hello Vicky, so sorry to hear about your son-in-law - does make me cross when they are prepared to wait for the stent to be inserted until Tuesday (bank holiday and all that !!). If they know it needs doing it should be done immediately, quite a simple procedure !!! Just hope all goes well.

Thank you all for your good wishes re; my health problems. I'm told that it will take several days before the tablets start to have any effect.
Afternoon Ladies and all or any Gentlemen taking a look on here.
First of all Kim - it was all Patricia's idea - my only input was to take a few photos and leave the decision as to which one was used to her and the couple at the shop.
Vicky, Thanks for the comment on the T-shirt but as to me having one with Great-Grandad I really don't know. I have a Grumpy Old Man one - would that do? I am sorry to hear about your son-in-law and his problem - I can certainly sympathise with him from experience. He's probably better for them to wait until Tuesday for a stent and have a procedure done when properly planned rather than a rush job and hopefully with an experienced surgeon. It's a simple procedure but still carries a lot of risks as I know from my second stent. Anyway wish him the best from me!
Pamela - thanks also for your comments on Gary's T-shirt - he's put it on Facebook and had comments from as far away as America! All good I believe.
Bye for now - take care everyone and keep taking the tablets whoever is on them - probably all of us!

Another lovely day.
What a result yesterday for the cricket. Good result on Saturday in the rugby as well.
John saw the consultant yesterday and they are doing the stent on Tuesday, not quite where you want to be on your Pearl Wedding Anniversary.
Must be foggy this morning on the solent as the ships hooters are making a real racket.
Have a good day everyone and take care.

Hello Vicky I had two stents put in 12 years ago and I haven’t looked back. All the best to John. I had a rush job done but the surgeon was in a similar situation to me shortly before. He did a good job.
Haven’t been on here too much.
Had a good weekend away in Ballycastle but unfortunately pulled a muscle and now have grounded myself.
Regards to Ian. Take care.

Hello Vicky, thanks for another hug and hoping your mouth is healing well now. Good to know that John will get his stent fixed tomorrow - no it certainly isn't where you want to be on any wedding anniversary.
Hi Colum, you seem to have been AWOL for a while now but it's good to see you again. Glad you enjoyed your weekend away - shame about that pulled muscle, just take care of it.
Big hugs to all our lovely family, take care of yourselves and each other.

Hello Vicky - just hope everything gets sorted out for John. It is indeed very worrying for you all.
Good morning everyone.
Morning hugs for all.
John had his stent put in yesterday but it was complicated. They tried at first to go in via his wrist but couldnt get there so went in via the groin, the artery was blocked at both ends and when they came out there was a big bleed. Its a relief to know that it is done.
I lost 1lb at slimming club so that was good.
Ian is going sailing this morning and I have a few things to sort out.
Have a good day everyone and take care.
