I served for nearly 6 years in Germany from 1961-67 lots of quick train exercises, lost a good mate in a recovery accident. Very busy time. The training cost lives they died training to protect our country. We should get a thank you over and above the wage we got. Take Care All.

I served at RAF Dusseldorf Aug 63 to Mar 66. What thanks do we get ?
When they have done with you, it's the scrap heap for you my lad.. bye..

We have never had anything from the present or passed Governments so I dont hold out any hope for reconition now.
