There are things in the water which didn't aught'er
Be there
There are things down the loo, which are not good for you
And some of 'em have got teeth and hair
There are things in the seas which will buckle your knees
If they get inside your skin
They'll all gather around until they have found
A nice warm place to hide in
There are things in the air which would give you a scare
If you could see 'em up close
They're really quite tiny, some prickly, some slimy
So they can get up your nose
There are things in the drains, which give us humans, pains
Combined with the shivers and sweats
And if we're just tiny tots, we come out in big spots
Then we're not allowed to have pets
There are things waiting to pounce, we can't even pronounce
Or we haven't heard of them yet
From Alaska to Peru they'll be waiting for you
And I'll bet there'll be more in Tibet
We are supposed to believe, that we have a reprieve
But I doubt that this is true
One percent wont expire, for that we'll need fire
As even an 'A-bomb' won't do.
The one percent that remain, will soon spread the strain
Then they'll own the globe
They won't hide in a sewer, they'll know the're secure
All that from a tiny microbe.
There is no point in us causing a scene
Because it's the way that life here's always been
It's a resolution, and it's called evolution
It's how God keeps this world clean
